Hello all! I had to currently change from using tumblr as my blog provider to blogger (what i've used in the past for going abroad). Tumblr wasn't allowing my written posts to show up & I got frustrated!! Grrrr! So now it's back to the well trusted blogger.com :)
This week has been a compilation of highs, lows and everything in between. I've been very spontaneous.
The Highs
- I bar tended behind a real bar for the first time
- I passed my bar tending exam, now it's time to get a job!
- I'm working on bettering my relationships with everyone.
- Where the Wild Things Are was fabulous. I noticed that most people who didn't read the book didn't really care much for the movie. I guess I just have some kind of nostalgia connection to it.
Randomness
- I thinking about looking into going abroad sometime again. I either want to backpack in a year or so or just move over there all together. And when it comes to moving there I'm thinking the UK or Italy!
- What's interesting is that it seems like this city is making me more tough than NYC was. I'm starting to figure people out more and know when to be nice and when not to be nice. I'm learning to not give in and do things I dont want to do just because of other people. I'm learning to care and focus more on my own needs. Which is why i'm in SF in the first place... ME. This is all mainly pertaining to graduate school, but is also filtering into everyday life.
- Yesterday was crazy and therefore, deserves its own blog!
